This page is a checklist for spotlight criteria.
Now you see the pics below the article advertising wikis? They are wikis that have earned a spotlight. In order for us to earn one, we must meet these requirements. Requirements that are strikedout mean they are done:
Have both an IP Welcome and a User Welcome(That's done.)Monaco Skin as Default(Yup.)Should have at least a 100 pages not counting stubs(We have a lot of articles now that are above this limit, though they still need improving.)Wiki should have Logo(Yeah, it's a working progress anyway.)- A clear category structure (Some pages need categorising, and once that's done - we're fine.)
The requestor should be either the admin, or link to a discussion with the admin of the wiki and agreeing to the spotlight(No worries there)The main page of the wiki should have at least one picture, and clear links to the most important content. It should also be unprotected unless there is a strong history of vandalism.(That's done)The wiki should not be in the middle of choosing new admins, or any other upheavals; it should be a stable, friendly place.(No requests for adminship or anything, but we need more users, hence the request for Spotlight.)The wiki should not have a sitenotice longer than two lines.(Yes)The wiki should be using the Wikia welcome tool, signed by admins -- (MediaWiki:Welcome-user should say @latest, @sysop or the name of an admin.)(That's done)
