The GPS, also known as the Radar, tells exactly where you are in the Choro-Q HG 2 world. Your car is represented by a red arrow in the centre of the GPS. By pressing SELECT on the controller, the map zooms out showing more information around you. This function is useful to tell you how close you are to the sea. The top of the GPS always shows what is North of your position and your car, when pointing a direction other than North, will not be pointing towards the top of the GPS. It returned in Choro-Q HG 3, the player can change its style by changing their meter.
Roads are displayed on the GPS as blue lines. Quick Pic Shops are displayed as black rectangles. Buildings are shown in brown. If the Coin Radar has already been acquired, the GPS will show Choro-Q coins as gold dots.
- When you are in Cloud Hill, nothing is shown on your GPS, not even yourself. This is probably an inside joke referring to the fact that Cloud Hill cannot recieve satellite signals.
