Jet Turbine is a special part that can boost the car's speed in a race. It can be engaged by holding down the R2 button, but it will drain extra fuel. Sandro gives it to you once you've found Kerori. Once it is unlocked, it can be bought at the Parts Shop at My City.
Trivia
- Never drive in very small bursts as it can drain fuel. However, it's not long enough to gain any speed, and therefore is redundant. One example of this ineffective action can be found in the credits movie.
- Only when used with the Flight Wing can you achieve proper flight, once over 300km/h.
- Use a full boost before going into the pits in Endurance Run as this will give you more speed and you will lose less time to other opposing racers.
