The Fuji City-Chestnut Canyon highway is a four-lane highway stretching from Fuji City to Chestnut Canyon. It also runs through Sandpolis and has an exit for My City.

Description[]

Elevated above ground for most of its route, the highway begins at the bridge connecting Fuji City and sticks to the southern coastline of the world.

Drivers can exit to My City through a highway ramp or to Sandpolis by using the large cloverleaf interchange just before the city. The highway flies over Sandpolis and snakes through the desert until it becomes a tunnel, after which the route continues as a dirt road through the middle of Chestnut Canyon.

It constitutes the southern half of the main road that circles each of the world's main cities, although it is the longest continuously paved stretch of highway on this route. The rest of the route circles through Mushroom Road and White Mountain as a dirt track until it reaches Peach Town, where it becomes a major paved road continuing over Island Bridge to Fuji City.

Trivia[]

  • Other cars are never seen driving on the highway; you are always alone.
  • Although there are toll booths at the beginning of the highway south of Fuji City, toll booths at the My City exit, and a toll booth "hut" next to the on-ramp in downtown Sandpolis, you do not have to pay to use the highway.
